Rotator Cuff Tears:

There are four major muscles that make up your rotator cuff: the Supraspinatus, Infraspinatus, Subscapularis, and the Teres Minor. These muscles assist with motion and create a stable environment for your shoulder.

When the muscles become irritated from overuse and go untreated, a hole or tear can develop in the tissue. These tears can also happen with individuals who have never had previous shoulder injury, by a sudden jerk of their arm, or lifting a heavy object, or from a fall.

Signs and Symptoms may include, deep pain, weakness, inability to lift your arm overhead, popping, and difficulty sleeping.
